Critiques
Upon first viewing the piece, it just sings out freedom and fantasy.
The vision and the impact are right there. You look at the girl in this field of flowers feeling the wind under a great moon (which shines down as bright as a sun). It envokes a feeling that this isn't real - maybe it is in her mind? Maybe it is a different world? Who knows?
The Technique is good, however there is something about her skirt which doesn't sit right, maybe it is the amount of light on the back of the ruffles since the shadow is clearly coming from the moon.
But VERY minor.
Originality is good. Been done before, but every version of this other world/scape is always beautiful to see.
All in all, a very gorgeous piece of work.
